How to Choose the Correct Shower Light Fixture


Everyone has different tastes regarding their shower light fixture and to facilitate them, many bathroom accessories have been developed.

You have to follow these tips while choosing an overhead bulb.

1.Choose a bulb which release less amount of steam. You want light and not heat so it becomes absolutely necessary to choose a light which won’t produce much heat.

2.Choose a white bulb as it goes with the skin tone of many people. Halogen bulbs can also be preferred but they are a bit expensive.

3.Make sure that the lighting is at least a 10 feet away from your Jacuzzi, Tap, Stall and Sink so that there would be no chance for short circuiting.

4.You can also prefer LED lights for your overhead showers. The LED is an advanced technology which will light according to the temperature of the water. For instance if the water is cool, the LED will show a blue light and if the water is hot, a red light will be shown. This will give a tacky and unconventional feel to your place.

5.Make sure that the lighting is water proof. Unlike normal lights which you will place on your wall, you are going to place it on your shower. There is a chance for it to get in contact with water. So, it is better to buy a bulb which is water proof.
